The Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Islamabad has announced a job opportunity for a Visa and Passport Assistant (male / female / diverse) to support administrative operations within its Visa Section for Afghanistan. This position offers qualified professionals the opportunity to contribute to consular services by assisting with visa application processing and providing administrative support.

The embassy is seeking a motivated and professional candidate who can manage visa-related administrative duties while maintaining a high standard of service for applicants and stakeholders.

The role of Visa and Passport Assistant involves supporting the visa section in handling applications, interacting with clients, and maintaining accurate records within the embassy’s visa management systems.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or relevant professional experience in administration
  • Excellent command of English
  • Excellent knowledge of Dari, and/or sufficient proficiency in German
  • Working knowledge of standard IT programs, including Microsoft Word and Excel

Candidates who demonstrate higher language proficiency or knowledge of multiple required languages will receive preference during the selection process.
